Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Learnzo — from getting started to how your data is handled.

How does the AI generation work?
Upload a document and choose what you want to create — notes, flashcards, or quizzes. Flashcards and quizzes run in the background, while notes are generated when requested.
What types of content can I upload?
You can upload PDFs, Word documents (DOCX), Markdown files, and plain text up to 50 MB, or paste a URL to import a web page. Once processed, the same content can become notes, flashcards, and quizzes.
What is the AI Tutor and how does it work?
The AI Tutor answers questions using only your uploaded materials. Your documents are indexed into a searchable vector database, and answers are grounded in the original source passages — so you can always check where the answer came from.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your materials are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We never train AI models on your content, and document embeddings are generated on our own infrastructure — your study data belongs to you.
How does spaced repetition work?
Learnzo uses the SM-2 algorithm, the same proven system used by Anki and SuperMemo. Each review schedules the next one at the optimal interval based on how well you remember the card, which maximizes long-term retention.
How does billing and credit usage work?
Learnzo is credit-based. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and each AI generation consumes a small number of credits (for example, one flashcard or quiz question costs one credit). The Free plan includes 100 credits a month — enough to try everything.
Can I collaborate with others?
Yes. Workspaces let you invite members with role-based permissions to share notes, flashcards, quizzes, and collections — useful for study groups, classrooms, and teams.
Which browsers are supported?
Learnzo supports the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best experience.
